WE'RE ON OUR OWN BUT NOT ALONE

Human survival consists of two groups
The overseers and the rest who obey.
Man can't help but persecute man
By the darkness of night or the light of day.

Our time on earth is but short dance in the sun
It's a miracle we exist at all.
Victims of war, disease, environment and murder
With multitudes of fools who ignore God’s call.

Hallelujah to all who still attend service
Or choose to worship at home.
Either way, the faithful will proclaim
Prayers are heard and we're not alone.
